Moroccan Burgers

Blend 1 Tbsp of Ras el-Hanout (see recipe below) with 1-lb ground lean turkey or bison burger. Shape. Grill. Serve with grilled pita and a homemade tzatziki sauce.

Ras el-Hanout (Moroccan Spice Mix)
     1 tsp ground cumin
     1 tsp ground ginger
     3/4 tsp salt
     3/4 tsp ground black pepper
     1/2 tsp cinnamon
     1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
     1/2 tsp allspice
     1/4 tsp ground cloves

Yield: 2 Tbsp. Mix spices and store in an airtight container. Use for seasoning roasted/grilled meats; veggie soups, rice, or couscous. Source: FoodandNutritionMag.org
