Fuel Your Performance - Daily

An endurance athlete is defined as one who trains and competes for 90 minutes or longer. Fueling your body for performance is essential in progressing, reaching your training goals, or simply not burning out. Carbohydrates should contribute 60-70% of your daily calories. Note that a diet with whole grains, fruits, vegetables, and lean protein (fish, chicken) will provide the daily energy needed for your endurance event.
